New COVID-19 cases recorded in the MD of Wainwright

There are 10 active cases of COVID-19 and one recovery in the MD of Wainwright as of July 26th according to Alberta Health.

The County of Minburn also saw an additional case and has three active cases and one recovery.

The County of Vermilion River remains at one active case and six recoveries. The County of Two Hills saw two more recoveries for a total of three recoveries and six active cases.

Over the weekend, the province recorded 304 new cases out of over 26,000 tests collected. There are 1,430 active cases in Alberta.

In the Central zone, the number of active cases has gone down to 162. The number of people being treated in hospitals has also been reduced to 22 with four in intensive care. There are 156 cases within the zone that are considered to be recovered.
