New COVID-19 case and recoveries reported in the MD of Wainwright

The MD of Wainwright has seen an additional case of COVID-19 in the area as well as more recoveries.

According to Alberta Health data, there are 12 active cases and four recoveries in the municipality as of July 29th.

The counties of Two Hills and Minburn remain unchanged. There is one active case and three recoveries in the County of Minburn and two active cases and seven recoveries in the County of Two Hills.

Across Alberta, there was 113 new cases were recorded and 8,670 tests completed on July 29th. There are 1,408 active cases throughout the province.

In the Central zone, there are 201 active cases with 16 people being treated in hospital and five of those are in intensive care.
