Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Lloydminster and area.
At 8:08 p.m. MDT, meteorologists tracked a severe thunderstorm that can produce very strong wind gusts, up to ping pong ball size hail and heavy rain.
This thunderstorm is located near Provost and is heading to the northeast.
Intense lightning is likely with any thunderstorm that develops. Environment Canada recommends when thunder roars to go indoors.
The warning is in effect for:
