The Goat wraps up another Christmas Wish

The Goat just wrapped up the its annual Christmas Wish Friday, December 18.

With the goal of aiding families that are facing illness or death and financial troubles, the Goat’s Christmas Wish alleviates some household costs, and gives Christmas presents to deserving families in the community that have been nominated to receive a Wish from family and friends.

Through fundraising, the station granted 12 Christmas wishes, with a total of 40 thousand dollars this year.

“I have to say a massive thanks out to our anonymous panel. You know who you are. We’ve never shared the names to anyone in the community …” said JD Anderson, the program director of the radio station, expressing his gratitude to the panel of people who determine the recipients of the wishes, based on submitted nominations.

“They’re all tied to the non-profit sector around the area here. And we value their … We don’t spend a dime without their approval, and big thank you to them for once again making this a great year for the Goat’s Christmas Wish.”Th

Anderson also thanked those in the community who supported the radio station’s mission of giving struggling families a once-in-a-lifetime Christmas surprise.
