The Lloydminster Fire Department will be doing a controlled burn day on August 5th, 2020.
While it is being done on their training grounds, the department is re-iterating that it is a controlled burn, and not a training exercise. Businesses in the Highway 17/67 Street area have been notified, and the city says the burn will not affect operational times if someone calls the fire department for an emergency.
The burn will be ongoing until 5PM today.
