Battlefords RCMP say a man has been arrested after a Thursday afternoon incident in Mosquito Lake First Nation.

Police were called to a home just after 2 PM on August 6th, because a man was allegedly uttering threats and was believed to have a gun. At the time, RCMP were advising residents to avoid the area.

The suspect was arrested without incident by the RCMP Emergency Response Team. There may temporarily be a continued officer presence in the Mosquito Lake First Nation, as the North Battleford RCMP investigation is ongoing.
