A 14 year old Lloydminster girl is in the hospital after being struck by a truck. The girl was hit as the truck was turning from 52nd avenue onto 44th street on Sunday night. The girl was crossing 44th street at the time, and was dragged 25 feet before the truck was able to stop. The ambulance took the girl to the Lloydminster hospital, and from there she was taken to the Stollery in Edmonton. Lloydminster RCMP Constable Grant Kirzinger encourages the public to be cautious when walking or driving around sunrise and sunset.
