Lloydminster man faces drug charges

A Lloydminster man is facing several charges after being arrested for drug possession. Early Sunday morning, the RCMP received a phone call from a man reporting that a guest had stolen money from him. When the police arrived at the scene, they found a man with marijuana. The man was arrested for possession with intent to traffic, possession of a controlled substance, possession of the proceeds of crime, and four other charges. RCMP Constable Grant Kirzinger said that it’s a good example of how a simple call can turn into something larger, and encourages the public to keep reporting crimes, no matter how small.
