Premier Moe pushes back school start date to September 8

Saskatchewan is pushing back the start of the school year to September 8 to give schools more time to prepare.

In a social media post, Premier Scott Moe announced the delay as well as $40 million for supplies for the Safe Schools Plan. The province will also be implementing a new testing strategy for teachers and students who volunteer.

Moe says more details will be given in the Monday, August 17 update.
