Case adjourned for Lloydminster men facing forcible confinement charges

Two men facing forcible confinement charges related to a house search in Lloydminster had their case adjourned in Lloydminster Provincial Court on Monday.

Luke Dean, 27, and Jason Palsich, 37, will appear in court on August 31st.

According to RCMP, the two men were involved in an ongoing investigation where a victim was allegedly assaulted and confined to the house before being able to flee.

They were jointly charged with forcible confinement, assault with a weapon, uttering threats, robbery with a weapon and extortion. No new charges were brought against them.

The allegations against the accused have not been proven in court.
