Rona Lloydminster joining in Lowe’s September Heroes Campaign

Lowe’s Canada will be opening their September Heroes Campaign again for 2020, with the Lloydminster location also getting involved.

The yearly campaign has all stores across Canada bring in donations for a local organization or school to carry out a specific project or to continue their mission to the community. This year the Lloydminster location will be raising donations for the Lloydminster Regional Health Foundation.

At the end of the fundraiser, Lowe’s Canada matches 50 per cent of the donations raised, up to $2,000. September Heroes will run from the 1st to 30th of the month.

In a statement, Senior Vice-President of Public Affairs, Asset Protection and Sustainable Development Jean-Sébastien Lamoureux says this is a way to give back to the communities that continue to support them, and as several families have been hit hard in the past few months.

In total, 287 Lowe’s owned locations will be participating across the country, benefiting 235 different initiatives and community organizations.
