RCMP searching for driver involved in fatal collision north of Cochin

A 21-year-old woman has died from her injuries following a vehicle collision on Highway 4 north of Cochin.

North Battleford RCMP responded to the single vehicle collision on August 29th at around 7:30 p.m. Officers determined the driver of the vehicle fled the scene following the crash. The female passenger was taken to hospital in the Battlefords, but later died from the injuries.

Mounties say efforts to locate the driver have been unsuccessful. The driver was wearing a red t-shirt, black pants and red shoes. RCMP is asking anyone with more information on the driver or the incident to contact the detachment or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers.
