One new COVID-19 case in the North West zone, eight total across Saskatchewan

One new case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in the North West zone along with seven others throughout Saskatchewan. The new case was the Lloydminster/Maidstone subregion which now has a total of three active cases.

The Cut Knife Wilkie zone has two active cases. Both the Battlefords zone and St Walburg/Turtleford area have zero confirmed active cases.

Three of the other seven new cases was reported in the Saskatoon zone, two in the Central East zone, one in Regina and one in the South East zone.

Across the province, of the 1,651 reported cases since the pandemic began, 48 are considered active. One person in Saskatoon is being treated in intensive care.

No new recoveries were reported and the total number of recoveries remains at 1,579.
