If you’re driving through the Battlefords, you might want to watch your speed. The North Battleford RCMP are conducting a traffic blitz with Saskatchewan Government Insurance. Dubbed the Selective Traffic Enforcement Program, the RCMP have set up four locations around the city to crack down on traffic violations. Constable Dereck Crozier with the North Battleford RCMP says the blitzes do have an effect on North Battleford. Crozier says that during the blitzes, officers can give out 30-50 tickets a day. Crozier says that while the blitz hasn’t visited Lloydminster recently, it could happen within the next year
