Lloydminster RCMP recover $120,000 in stolen items

Lloydminster RCMP have recovered an estimated $120,000 in stolen properties as part of a property crime reduction initiative that began in July.

RCMP members executed a search on October 1st in relation to a property crime investigation and recovered several items including RV travel trailers, enclosed hauling trailers, a flat deck trailer, ATV’s, a firearm and several other items obtained through crime.

Forty-one year-old Trevor Tessmer was charged with 14 counts of possession of property obtained by crime, four counts of firearms offences, six counts of uttering forged documents, two counts of altering vehicle identification numbers and one count of possession of methamphetamines.

Tessmer was also wanted for failing to comply with release orders from a previous charge of theft. He was released after a judicial hearing and will appear in Lloydminster Provincial Court on November 3rd.
