Lloydminster RCMP want drivers to focus while driving in hopes of deterring accidents

With the recent string of accidents involving pedestrians and cars, the RCMP are stressing the importance of remaining focused on the roads. Many of the accidents were caused by a combination of human error and environmental issues, and the police are trying to reduce the risk. Constable Grant Kirzinger with Lloydminster’s RCMP detachment tells Goat News to always be aware of your surroundings and double check for pedestrians behind you. He said drivers shouldn’t focus on one spot and should make sure your eyes are always moving around you because the environment is always changing. Kirzinger says pedestrians have to be alert and follow traffic signals as well.
