Lloydminster Remembrance Day Ceremony to be held virtually

The Lloydminster Canadian Legion Branch #39 will be holding their Remembrance Day Ceremony online this year.

Due to the restrictions on gatherings, the Legion will have a livestream of the ceremony set up on their Facebook page. Richard Dixon says the hall will be limited to production staff and legion members for the ceremony, which will be shorter this year. The ceremony will start at 10:45 a.m. on November 11th and is expected to end by 11:30 a.m.

The Legion Hall has also officially reopened and will welcome visitors Wednesdays from 5 to 10 p.m., Fridays from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturdays from 2 to 6 p.m.

EDIT: A previous version of the article listed Richard Dixon as the President of the Legion which was inaccurate. The article has been update and we apologize for the mistake.
