Battlefords RCMP looking for wanted man

Battlefords RCMP are asking for the public’s tips finding a man wanted on six criminal charges.

The suspect, 35-year-old Stephen Lee Moosomin, is from Saskatoon but is known to frequent both North Battleford and the Mosquito First Nation.

He is wanted on charges of alleged break and enter, forcible confinement, possession of property obtained by crime, uttering threats, theft Under $5000 and failing to appear in court.

Moosomin was arrested originally in January in relation to a break and enter at a home the previous June. He was let go on a release order, promising to appear in February of 2020. He did not, and has been wanted by police since then.

Stephen Lee Moosomin is described as 5’9″, 265 LBs with short, brown hair and brown eyes. He has some tattoos, a Cross on his left arm and a Head Dress on his right arm.

If someone sees Moosomin, they are told not to approach him and instead contact their Battlefords RCMP, their local detachment or CrimeStoppers.
