Positive COVID-19 case confirmed at LCHS

Lloydminster Public School Division is confirming one positive COVID-19 case at Lloydminster Comprehensive High School.

Public health authorities informed the division of an individual in the grade 12 Tuesday/Thursday cohort testing positive on December 8th. The division will not be sharing any more details in order to protect the privacy of those involved.

Students and families are reminded to continue healthy habits like daily health screenings, staying home if ill, practicing proper hand hygiene, maintaining physical distancing as much as possible and wearing a mask when appropriate.

If someone develops COVID-19 symptoms, they’re recommended to call HealthLine 811 for next steps and testing information.
