Lloydminster RCMP investigating fatal collision

The Lloydminster RCMP is investigating after a collision involving a pedestrian.

Around 5:40 PM on December 8th, police responded to the serious accident at 57 Avenue and 41 Street. The accident, involving a car and a pedestrian, happened after the vehicle hit the person. The victim, a 61-year-old woman from the city, has passed away.

Police say the investigation is ongoing, and the victim’s name will not be released at this time.

 

Correction: The RCMP has provided updated information, removing information saying the person was in a marked crosswalk.
