Another COVID-19 case found at Holy Rosary, one class to move online for Thursday

The Lloydminster Catholic School Division has confirmed a new positive COVID case at Holy Rosary, and as such a class will go online tomorrow.

The case was found in an individual in the Grade 8 Group A class at Holy Rosary High School.

As a precaution, the school division says, Public Health is requiring all Grade 8 students in Group A who attended school on December 11th, to isolate until tomorrow, December 17th, at 6pm.

Due to current COVID-19 case numbers in the area, the LCSD says they have heard from the SHA that contact tracing will continue into tomorrow, December 17th.

They will be contacting close contacts to determine if further isolation measures are necessary.

If someone does not get a call from Public Health before tomorrow at 6pm, they are not required to isolate beyond December 17th.

If a child or family member has any symptoms of COVID-19, they are asked call HealthLine at 811 and stay home.

The LCSD will continue to provide additional information to parents as it is available.
