Two road workers transported to hospital following collision west of Mannville

Vermilion RCMP continue to investigate following a collision involving a vehicle and two highway road workers on Highway 16.
Police say they were called out to the collision west of Mannville at about 10 a.m. on December 16. Two men from Emcon Services were working on the eastbound lane when they were hit by a vehicle travelling eastwards.
STARS airlifted a 58-year-old man to an Edmonton hospital and a 50-year-old man was taken to Vermilion Hospital by ambulance before being taken to Edmonton for further care.
The 25-year-old driver of the vehicle was not injured.
Alberta Occupational Health and Safety has been notified of the incident.
