SHA advising of increased COVID exposure at North Battleford bar

Health officials have put out a warning about possible COVID-19 exposure at a North Battleford bar.

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is advising people who were at Bennigan’s Bar, located in the Tropical Inn at 1001 Highway 16 Bypass, that someone who was likely infectious was there on December 26th, 27th and 28th.

The person was there from 11:30AM to 5:30PM, Noon to 6:30PM and 11:00AM to 6:30PM on those days, respectively.

The SHA says anyone who was there at those times should self isolate for 14 days from their last visit.

Should symptoms of COVID develop, people should call their health practitioner or Healthline 811 for next steps and testing information. They also note that symptoms could develop two to fourteen days after exposure.

A location in Meadow Lake was also in the advisory of increased COVID-19 exposure. Anyone who was at the Empire Hotel Bar on December 20th from 7:00PM to 10:00PM and December 21st from 9:30PM to 10:00PM should follow these steps as well.
