Meadow Lake shooting suspect may be in Lloydminster, Edmonton: RCMP

Saskatchewan RCMP is asking for the public’s help in finding two men who they believe were involved in a shooting in Meadow Lake.

A 29-year-old man was shot at several time while inside a parked vehicle on Cochin Avenue in Meadow Lake during the early morning hours of January 4. He was hit once and suffered serious injuries while the two others in the vehicle were unharmed.

While being shot at, the driver tried to drive away but ran into a power pole and caught fire. EMS took the man to the hospital while the fire department put out the fire. Police believe this was not a random incident and two men may be involved.

Jonathan Shane Walter Iron, 33, of Meadow Lake is described as 6’1″ with a heavy build and brown eyes.

Christopher Michael Nolan, 20, of Meadow Lake is described as 6’0″ with a slim build and brown eyes. RCMP say Nolan is known to travel to Lloydminster and Edmonton frequently.

Anyone that knows of their whereabouts is asked to contact Meadow Lake RCMP, their local detachment or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers.

RCMP say the investigation is still ongoing and the general public is not at risk.
