Lakeland College virtually touring prospective students for 2021

Prospective Lakeland students will be able to see what the school has to offer while staying at home this year.

The virtual tour is something they originally designed in the fall of 2020 as a response to COVID-19, and the school will be doing it again.

The tours will begin with the Lloydminster Campus on March 11th, followed by Vermilion the next day. The first will showcase the university transfer, health and wellness, business and energy programs.

The second will feature agricultural sciences, environmental sciences, interior design technology, human services and the pre-employment or apprenticeship trades.

Kaleigh Schmid, Lakeland’s recruitment and enrolment supervisor, says despite going digital, the guests will still see go how Lakeland goes beyond the classroom and values hands-on experience so students graduate job-ready.

There will also be individual session times with academic advisors to discuss program details, financial aid and school’s support services.

People can reserve their spot for either or both sessions on the Lakeland College website.
