Wainwright RCMP looking for public feedback on priorities, operations

The Wainwright RCMP is looking to speak with the public about what they envision the police’s priorities should be in the coming future.

Much like they did in September, the detachment has set up a virtual means of connecting with residents, so they can work around COVID-19 guidelines. The public feedback will be then used to plan and develop new strategies to address items residents are concerned about.

In addition to Wainwright residents, the feedback is invited from people in Irma, Edgerton and Chauvin as well. People can use the RCMP Wainwright detachment email or mail their thoughts to the detachment at 826 3 Avenue.

The survey process will be open until March 18th. After that, Wainwright RCMP Sergeant Wes Bensmiller will review all the correspondence and will respond via local and social media for each town.

This is expected sometime near the end of April.
