SHA classifies College Park School COVID-19 cases as outbreak

The Saskatchewan Health Authority is now classifying the amount of COVID-19 cases at College Park School as an outbreak.

The school division has released information from the SHA saying that there are now five cases confirmed at College Park School, which has brought them into outbreak status within SHA parameters.

The most recent case, confirmed on March 29, 2021, impacted an individual in the 5-6 split class at College Park School. All students in that class were confirmed as close contacts.

To minimize further risk of transmission within the school community, students in the 5-6 split classroom were moved to remote learning and requested to self isolate until April 9th.

A formal letter from the SHA regarding the Outbreak has been shared with the school community and posted to the LPSD website.
