Rendell Park COVID-19 situation classified as outbreak by SHA

The Lloydminster Public School Division is letting the community know that the COVID-19 situation at Rendell Park School is now being classified as an outbreak.

According to Saskatchewan Health Authority parameters, an outbreak is classified as two or more cases that are found in a school or facility.

The LPSD says there were made aware on April 5th by health officials that a second case, impacting someone in the RK1 and RK2 classes at Rendell Park Elementary School, was found, thus the SHA call.

The school division says a formal letter from the SHA has been sent to parents, the school community and posted to their website.
