The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit is looking for witness information in a suspicious death investigation.
On April 17th, around 5PM, RCMP officers were called out to a man who had been found dead on a sidewalk in the 5300 block of 50 Avenue.
The RCMP Forensic Identification Section and Alberta Major Crimes Unit North were brought in. The MCU-N has taken over the investigation now.
They are asking any possible witnesses who were in the 50 Avenue between 51st and 57th Street area on April 17, 2021 between the hours 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM to come forward.

Anyone who has dashcam footage of the area is also asked to reach out.
The RCMP says more information is coming when it is available.
