Saskatchewan eligibility for immunizations moves to age 35

The eligibility threshold for immunizations against COVID-19 in Saskatchewan is going down to 35 years old tomorrow, May 6th.

Residents living in the Northern Saskatchewan Administration District will remain at 18 and older. This is applicable to all immunization clinics: booked appointments, pharmacies, drive-thru or walk-ins, and mobile sites.

Residents are encouraged to consider immunization at their local pharmacy, or at a drive-thru or walk-in clinic. Pharmacy immunizations can be found online. Drive-thru and walk-in clinics information is also on the government’s website.

Immunizations continue for all remaining phase one health care workers, additional front-line workers and first responders as identified in this list. Also, people with underlying health conditions who are clinically extremely vulnerable through an eligibility letter.

Residents 35 years and older may book online 24/7. Those needing additional support may book by phone at 1-833-SASKVAX (1-833-727-5829).  The call centre is open 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., 7 days per week.
