The age limit for COVID-19 vaccines is continuing to move down on schedule.
As of May 12th, the age will move down to 26, as it continues down to all people over 12 by May 20th. The change takes effect at 8 AM and will be in place for booked appointments, drive-thrus, pharmacies and walk-in clinics.
Currently, all other people above this age are eligible as well, along with all remaining phase one health care workers, additional front-line workers and First Responders, and people with underlying health conditions who are clinically extremely vulnerable.
Individuals 18 years of age and older living in the Northern Saskatchewan Administration District can get their vaccine as well.
People can book their appointment online, by calling 1-833-SASKVAX or can find where a drive-thru is open near them online as well. One will be open from 9 AM to 7:30 PM Wednesday at the Lloydminster Exhibition Grounds.
