Maidstone RCMP are on scene attending a two vehicle collision about 5 km north of Lloydminster.
Highway 17 North remains blocked in both directions between the eighth and ten mile section. Motorists are being asked to re-route, being mindful of emergency crews and reduce speed to 60 km/hr if passing emergency vehicles.
Lloydminster Rescue Squad, local EMS and fire department are also on scene to assist.
