Second Dose eligibility changes to a minimum of 28 days between doses

Effective Thursday June 24, the SHA is changing the second dose eligibility to a minimum of 28 days between doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

This means the second vaccine is now open to anyone who got their first jab on or before May 27.

If someone got their first dose on May 28, they will be eligible for their second dose on June 25, and for someone vaccinated on May 29 will be able to get their next jab on June 26, and so on.

Once an individual is eligible, they will remain eligible and can get immunized at any time.

Residents will be required to know the date of their first immunization. If you have misplaced your immunization document, the information can be retrieved by calling 1-833-SASKVAX (1-833-727-5829), or checking Immunization History on the MySaskHealthRecord account.

More details can be found on the Saskatchewan Health Authority website.

His mantra is focus on one thing and do it well.
