Battlefords RCMP arrest two people, lay drug trafficking charges

The Battlefords RCMP says they’ve arrested two people and laid drug trafficking charges.

The charges stemmed from a search warrant, executed in the 2600 block of 106 Street. During the search, officers allegedly seized 30 grams of cocaine, and other items believed to be indicative of drug trafficking.

Camille Brunet, 51, and Allen Kennedy, 65, have each been accused of suspected possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. Brunet has also be charged with possession of property obtained by crime.

Brunet will next appear in court on July 5th, 2021. Kennedy will appear on September 6th.
