The annual Lloydminster Region Health Foundation Scholarships and GrantsĀ have been awarded. This year, a grand total of 23 thousand dollars in 5 grants were given to health students and nurses in Lloydminster. Board of Directors Chair Darryl Howell was on hand for the ceremony. He says the purpose of the scholarships is to increase the quality of healthcare in the city.Ā Howell also said he enjoyed connecting the donors of the scholarships with the next generation of healthcare workers in Lloydminster.
