Lloydminster RCMP charge BC man with several offences

A forty-one year old man of Radium Springs, B.C. is facing several charges following an investigation that started in May.

Lloydminster RCMP General Investigation Section got information relating to forgery, uttering forged documents, trafficking stolen property and possession of stolen property. Their investigation traced a trail of crimes across Saskatchewan and Alberta to B.C.

On July 17th, officers located  a man believed to be involved. There were outstanding warrants for his arrest in all three provinces.

On July 28th, with the assistance of the Calgary Police Service, Lloydminster RCMP arrested Trevor Tessmer. At that time he had over 50 alleged criminal code charges.

He is now facing charges for suspected Trafficking in stolen property over $5000, Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000, Possession of property obtained by crime under $5000, VIN tampering, Uttering a forged document, Forgery, Flight from Peace Officer, Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, Impaired operation by drug, and Multiple breaches of a release order.

Tessmer has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in Lloydminster court August 17.
