Sask government makes large investment in education

The Government of Saskatchewan has announced major investments in education.

Minister of Education, Don Morgan joined students, teachers, and school division officials to make two major funding announcements, amounting to $20,000,000.

Over $16,000,000 was reallocated for the purchase of 46 new relocatable classrooms across the province. As well, $3.4 million in grant monies was allotted to CommunityNet, to provide continued bandwidth upgrades in schools where needed across Saskatchewan.

St. Paul Roman Catholic Separate School Division will receive $1.7 million.
