A Gang Task Force investigation has led to the seizure of five kilograms of cocaine in North Battleford.
On August 13, police officers with help from the Saskatchewan Crime Reduction Team stopped a vehicle and conducted a search which resulted in the discovery.
Officers say this is extremely significant as the five kilograms equates to about 50,000 doses of cocaine which are now off the streets in a community of about 14,000 people.
Charges have not been laid and the investigation is ongoing.
