Tomayer is new GM at Lloyd Ex

The Lloydminster Agricultural Exhibition Association has confirmed Jackie Tomayer to the position of General Manager.

In making the appointment, the Association noted that Tomayer has seen many changes and has adapted quickly in her four years of being with the organization. These include the retirement of long-time manager Mike Sidoryk and having to navigate over the COVID-19 months.

Tomayer started in 2018 as Marketing Manager overseeing social media innovation and increasing the online presence of the Association’s  signature events including the Denham RAM Tough CPCA Finals and Fair entertainment.

Tomayer says that the Lloyd Ex has become her consuming passion as she lives, works and breathes for the success of all events, from large to small and to share those special moments with the community.

The Board of Directors have recognized Tomayer’s dedication, passion, and commitment regarding the future
development of the Association, in making the appointment.

Gerry has lived in Lloydminster since winter 2010. That detail is important as coming from the Caribbean he did not see green grass until May. Now an Alberta/Western Canada resident, you would be hard-pressed to find a stronger proponent of Lloydminster than the news guy that appreciates a healthy dose of rock music and dress code leather. His mantra is focus on one thing and do it well.
