Lloydminster Public Library makes temporary return to the Atrium

From Tuesday 7th September, the Lloydminster Public Library is making a temporary return to its old location in the basement of the Atrium Centre, downtown. The Library has been in the process of moving to the LloydMall which suffered flood damage recently.

“While this isn’t our forever home, we look forward to welcoming patrons back to the library in a limited capacity at Atrium Centre,” says Michele Duczek, Interim Library Director, Lloydminster Public Library.

The Library will open with a reduced capacity from Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. offering the following services:

  1. In-person support for things like library card activations and renewals.
  2. Borrowing from the collection on site
  3. Inter-library loans
  4. Hoopla and Overdrive online services remain available

There will be no public internet or computer access.

The City says details on the Library’s move the LloydMall will be announced when it’s available.
