Fall Fest which was planned for Saturday September 18 is being canceled following the report of rising COVID case numbers from the SHA.
City officials are taking the decision so as not to place pressure on resources at the Lloydminster Hospital.
Jordan Newton, Emergency Manager, for Lloydminster says the event brings about 3,000 visitors to Bud Miller so “the public-health hazards associated with a large-scale event of this nature are simply too great at this time.”
The City thanks staff as well as the many partnering groups that put their efforts into planning the event.
