On September 10th, shortly after 1 pm., officers responded to the serious collision on Highway 619 and Range Road 32.

An investigation by the RCMP Construction Analyst determined that a semi-truck was travelling westbound on 619 when it hit an ATV, towing a post pounder, that was also travelling westbound on the shoulder of the highway.

Multiple emergency crews and detachments all assisted on the scene, however, the victim, a 30-year-old woman, passed away on the scene. The driver of the semi-truck was not hurt.
