Maidstone RCMP investigating numerous items stolen from Milleton Community Hall

The Maidstone RCMP is investigating after several items were robbed from the Milleton Community Hall.

It’s believed that someone broke into the community hall sometime between August 31st and September 6th, ransacking several items. Some of the large scale items taken included a microwave, a vacuum cleaner, a water cooler along with several blankets, left-handed bow sets and several sets of keys.

Along with that, numerous smaller dining and cooking items were also stolen. These were comprised of:

  • Approximately fifty salt and pepper sets
  • Six large stainless steel bowls
  • All the plastic wrap and aluminium foil
  • Three to four dozen dish towels
  • Approximately two dozen dishcloths
  • Eight to ten large plastic tubs
  • Ten roaster ovens
  • Thirty red and white gingham tablecloths
  • Two electric tea kettles
  • Two three-quart pots
  • Several large, heavy-duty restaurant-type pots with lids
  • Two coffee makers
  • Several large boxes of assorted plastic cutlery
  • The large square green garbage cans
  • A coffee butler thermos

Many of these items have markers on them indicating they’re owned by the Milleton Community Hall.

Sergeant Jolyne Harrison of Maidstone RCMP Detachment Commander says these items are used for community events and everyone in rural Saskatchewan will understand how important these items are to a community hub, such as a local town hall.

Anyone with details on this crime is asked to report it to the RCMP or CrimeStoppers should they wish to remain anonymous.
