Albertans who are voting in the senate election and referendum in Lloydminster next Monday will need to access the Servus Sports Centre using the exterior overhead doors on the west side, to get into the field house where ballots will be cast, according to the City.
The October 18th poll has a referendum on daylight saving time, as well as a question on the federal equalization payments. In both cases voters are being asked if these should be eliminated.
In the senate race, voters can select up to a total of three candidates. The choices can be viewed by clicking on this Elections Alberta link.
Persons eligible to vote must be 18 years old, a Canadian citizen, and a resident in Alberta, where the person’s place of residence is located in the local jurisdiction on election day. More information on this can be found at Elections Alberta or by contacting the local returning officer:

Polls open on Monday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Servus Sports Centre (5202- 12 Street) inside Mike’s Oilfield Field House.
The City has indicated that all public health measures will be in place to ensure safe voting.
