Saskatchewan renews sponsorship for CWA

The Saskatchewan government has inked another five-year partnership valued at $250,000 with Canadian Western Agribition.

The deal was announced by Ag Minister David Marit at the burning of the brand on Monday.

Marit expressed the government’s pride in it’s continued support of the show on its fiftieth anniversary.

“This show puts Saskatchewan’s agriculture industry on the world stage, enhancing our international reputation and providing producers with the information, technology and connections needed to reach our growth plan goals for 2030.”

The agreement provides Canadian Western Agribition with $50,000 in sponsorship annually for five years, starting next year and continuing to the 2026 show.

CWA CEO Chris Lane said the continued support will help the show maintain its position as one of the most important showpieces of agriculture in the world.

“For decades, this partnership has helped Agribition be a premier connection for sending Saskatchewan agriculture products around the world, and today’s announcement ensures that will continue for years to come.”

Canadian Western Agribition attracts over 100,000 visitors a year, including 1,200 international guests from over 86 counties.
