Local gift box sales to benefit The Olive Tree

There’s just 100 boxes, stuffed with local gift items selling for $75, in a holiday fundraiser for The Olive Tree which started Friday.

Think Lloyd First ambassador Dr. Nekky Jamal of Wayside Dental Centre reminds residents to support local while shopping locally through the Think Lloyd First curated gift box program.

“It’s a great pleasure to bring forth yet another great Think Lloyd First box full of awesome items; and the best part is the proceeds are going to support The Olive Tree.”

Becky Schille, Executive Director at The Olive Tree stresses the importance of the generosity of the local gift.

“We’ve seen an increase in the number of families needing food support this year and we’re so thankful for Wayside Dental Centre, Brixton Shoes and the community for their continued support. We’re so thankful to be included in this creative initiative, and for supporting local this Christmas.”

The contents of each gift box is valued at about $110 and it’s got:

The funds raised will go directly to The Olive Tree to support their efforts to assist local families in need.
