The SHA is announcing that the Operating Room and Medical Device Reprocessing at the Battlefords Union Hospital will be closed until Friday, February 11th.
They advise that renovations are currently underway which makes the entire closure necessary.
They add that patients requiring or potentially needing unscheduled surgery may be referred to alternate sites where surgical services are available during the construction period.
Those travelling by emergency ambulance with potential surgical need, may also be sent to other sites.
