Police continue to seek Charmaine Brett Bear aka Charmaine Spyglass

RCMP are again asking for the public’s help as they seek Charmaine Brett Bear also known as Charmaine Spyglass.

They say the Battlefords woman is wanted for alleged failure to provide the necessaries of life, aggravated assault, assault, uttering threats and criminal negligence causing bodily harm.

Police widened the arrest warrant across Alberta in January. They believe the suspect is known to be in Lloydminster, North Battleford, Mosquito First Nation and Saskatoon areas. They say Bear has also been seen in the Edmonton area.

Investigators say Bear is known to frequently change her appearance. She is described as being:

  • 5’6″ tall
  • 123 pounds with a slender build
  • long, black hair that she is known to wear tucked up under a ball cap
  • brown eyes
  • she is known to wear baggy clothing and sunglasses indoors.

Police are repeating their call for anyone knowing the whereabouts of Charmaine Brett Bear to contact the nearest police service, or report a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers: 1-800-222-8477.
