On February 12th around 4:36 p.m., a man walked into a liquor store located on 11th Avenue and 10th Street in Wainwright. Police say he took a bottle of liquor into his hand and then hit an elderly employee across the face with it. The woman reportedly suffered serious injuries.

Police describe the suspect as:

  • Light skin
  • 20-25 years old
  • Short brown hair
  • Approximately 160 pounds with a slim build

Officers report that the male suspect then fled for the exit, but as he was leaving the store, he saw an elderly man standing nearby. He returned to the store and struck the elderly man with his fist.
