Police arrest and charge suspect for Wainwright liquor store assault

Wainwright RCMP have arrested and charged a suspect following an assault at liquor store on February 12th.

Investigators say following a tip off 23-year old Jessie Isaac Turk was found at his home shortly after the incident and taken into police custody.

Turk is charged with alleged two counts of aggravated assault and assault.

He has been remanded into police custody and will be appearing in Provincial Court in Lloydminster, Alberta on Tuesday, February 15th.

Wainwright RCMP wish to thank the public for their assistance in identifying the suspect.
